Planning your own baby shower?

I've had plenty of coworker's and family ask me if I'm having one, I want to, thing is I don't have any friends that would throw me one. (Not a very social person🙄) I was talking to my grandma about it and she says I can't plan it by myself. Did any of you ladies plan your own shower? I already found a cute theme 😩

For my second I planned my own because technically you are only supposed to have one shower or so that's what I've been told buuuuuut for my second I just planned a little get together with food an a few games an gifts weren't required  but people still brought one if they wanted. It was just something simple and fun

I'm planning mine. And it's going to be co-ed. I don't really follow the "rules" 😂

We live in a different state than my parents do and so I am throwing one at our house for coworkers and friends where we live. It's not going to be big but it's going to be more fun and casual than a baby shower. We are going to buy some beers and finger foods and just have a fun Saturday night type of thing. I attached the invitation we are using. I think it will be cute!

I am, with some help from my mom. Told her I was having one and she just offered to pitch in. I just don't feel like other people should be obligated to throw me a party for my baby that I chose to have, but I'm super independent and avoid asking for help ever!
