Baby #2?

Hey all!  We are thinking about starting to try for baby #2!  What do you think is a good age gap?  If we are able to get pregnant by the end of this year it would be about a 2-2.5 year gap.  Anyone have kids with this age difference already?  Pros/cons?  Thanks!!! 😊

We've been trying for number two since my son was 6 months old. He turns one in a month and no success yet. But my whole thought was that every age gap is going to have its own set of challenges. My brother and I were 9 years apart (mom had trouble ttc for 8 years) and there were some huge challenges with that. I have a friend who's babies are 14 months apart. Again, it had challenges. Though when the kids got older they were so close and in ways was easier. As long as you think you can handle those set of challenges (possibly two babies still in diapers, possible jealousy, crazy twos with crying baby, etc) I think it's a great age gap!

My first two boys are 18 months apart. My second and third are 3 years apart.

I don't think it matters. Having kids close in age requires a bit more patience. That's about it. If you are a patient person then go for it. If you aren't, stretch it out a bit furher

I think pros and cons to any age gap. I'm hoping to try soon to have about a 2 year gap... here's hoping! :)
