Thrush in 1 month old newborn

Baby and I have been treated for thrush. Baby has been treated with Nystatin and myself with nystatin topical nipple cream. I've noticed her tongue has cleared up however her cheeks and lips still have white coatings and sometimes I still experience pain while breastfeeding. I've taken the extra precautions of sterilizing and cleaning her pacifiers and ensuring my nipples air dry after each feeding however now we've been prescribed Fluconazole for baby's mouth. Have any mothers tried this on their newborns? And it's effectiveness?
