Spotting for 9 days

So I was 11 days late this cycle. Now since the 1st I've been spotting. Never enough to fill a regular size tampon throughout the entire day. Literally just spotting. I have never had this before. Should I keep waiting it out or make an OB appointment to see what the heck is going on? Thanks in advance!🙂
