age gaps at 14 are a big deal because both parties haven't properly matured emotionally. once you're an adult age gaps aren't as big of a deal. my cousin had a 6 year age gap with his wife.

Theres a lot of experience difference between a 14 year old and a 17 year old. You might not notice because you haven't gone through those next 3 years yet. But your boyfriend was probably a very different person when he was 14 than who he is now. The teen years are very important for self development. But you can both try it, as long as he doesn't force you into anything :). I wouldn't recommend it, but give it a shot if that's what you want.

I say it's okay as long as both of you guys are safe and mature about things. It's only 3 years apart, that's like asking is it okay for a 20 year old to date someone who is 23. Or for someone who is 24 to date someone who is 27. It's fine, long as he or she doesn't force you into anything😊
