Nipple piercings?

I'm getting my nipples pierced tomorrow and was wondering if anyone has any last words of advice about the recovery, healing process, etc, or just a story to share about yours! I've done a lot of research, just looking for any recommendations from personal experience since I know everyone recovers differently 😇

Getting them pierced is kinda scary, but like if you've ever gotten a tattoo, it's definitely not bad as that at all. It goes by quick. I was given salt by my piercer for cleaning them and I bought mini Dixie cups and just used hot water and salt and put the lil cups over my nipples. They healed pretty quickly, but definitely wear padded bras for about when you get them done.( I generally either go braless or wear bralettes )so that was kinda hard for me, but I was also a nanny for an infant at the time so I was always afraid of him grabbing my boob or something.. Just clean them ever daily and try as hard as you can to not sleep on you stomach. And don't let anyone touch them for a while! That was a rough one for me when having sex with my bf, but it was fine.. I waited like a year to finally change my piercings, but that was mostly just cuz the original jewelry was literally impossible for me to take off myself and my bf wanted to just do it himself with plyers and was like fuck that! I'd wait like 6 months to change them though just to be safe. Mine have never been infected, but its hurts a lot if you hit them on anything, so just be careful! And it helped me to be holding someone's hand while I was getting mine pierced! My bf and cousin came with me and my cousin stayed with me for the first one and then we switched and my bf held my hand for the second one.👌
