Feeling the baby move?

I'm a first time mom and I will be 17 weeks tomorrow. I keep thinking I feel the baby move, but I can't tell if it's the baby or just gas. Can anyone who has felt their baby describe what it feels like?

I would say it feels like someone tapping their fingers on inside. It's usually pretty low. And other times it feels like the ringing sensation you get when on a roller coaster. (Just a lighter version of that.)

You know in a fish tank how they have that thing that blows bubbles in the water to oxidize it? It feels like that but in my stomach.

I'm in the same boat as you. I feel like by now I must have felt him, but I'm not sure enough to go around telling everyone I definitely felt my baby! The feeling for me is similar to gas. I've decided that when it's only gas, I sort of feel it all over my insides, I specially higher in my belly vs. the baby, which I only feel lower in my abdomen. But like I said, I'm not really sure and this is my guess. Still waiting to feel something that I know for sure is him. I'm a FTM and have no idea what it'll be like, but I guess that's part of the excitement too!

If u pay attn you can feel em about 17 wks! That's when I noticed although it's not as frequent as u think. I mainly noticed after I had caffeine or ate late lol. About 20 you'll definitely notice a little shove.

This is my second, i'm 16w 4d feeling light flutters. I didn't feel hard actual kicks until I was 19 weeks with my first.

I think I'm feeling movements. Felt like when a cat taps you with its paw, put inside, then felt like a butterfly flapping its wings. I've also felt what I think was a kick, almost felt like a muscle twitch, ever get a muscle twitching under your eye? Similar to that but stronger and internal. I'm 17+5
