Ashley piercing info/stories/etc? ✨

Hey ladies!

So I'm after a couple of new piercings before the end of 2017 (currently I have ears, left nipple and a confusing Christina, haha)... and I've had the Ashley (inverted vertical labret) in my mind on and off for a while now. There is a place a town away from me (where I've been for stuff before, pretty decent place), that judging by their Facebook page; have done a good few Ashleys, and of course the vertical larger countrpart. So I think they'll be a decent place to go. Some of their fresh ones look neat.

Anyways! So the reason I post is I guess I wondered if anyone here has or had a Ashley piercing! And if so, how it is / was etc.

A side note: I had my medusa done from late last year til a couple months ago... my lip swelled quite obviously for a week or two.. was crazy. I also found that the swelling never went all the way down, despite it being in pretty good shape in terms of healing. A girl at the place I mentioned earlier replaced a bar for me not long before I retired it, saying some people do just find that it can heal decently but still not go all the way down to how it was. And now months later I'm considering an Ashley, I wonder if it'll be a similar situation? I know it'll be best to ask a professional (I plan on it depending on what I hear) but what do you all reckon? Hmm.
