its saying your fertile window starts right after your period ends but you usually ovulate during the end of your fertile window. only way to know when you for sure ovulate is to do opk test. 
sperm can live on average up to 5 days so if you have sex 5 days before you ovulate there is a chance that you might get pregnant from that day.
