Where were you when 9/11 happened?

I was in 6th grade. The school went on lock down because President Bush was in town down the street from my school. In south Florida. I remember the teacher turning on the news. Not even 4 mins into it. The second plane hit. Teachers and staff were crying. It took us kids a little bit to get what was going on. One of my friends in my class lost her father that day. He was in the first tower.
