So I have weird cycles. Therefore I have no idea if my period is late or not. According to a regular cycle, I'm pretty late though. I've been a lot more hungry than usual and generally just a lot more sensitive. I also had a little spotting when a regular cycle period would have happened, but that stopped. So I figured I would wait. Then I picked up a few tests from the dollar tree last night (because I have two nice ones but I'm saving those for my bfp. I know, I'm weird.)

This morning I took one, and it came back defective. It never changed. Has anyone ever had the dollar tree ones work? Do they not work at all? I'm hoping it was just that one but I don't want to take both and have them both defect and then buy more. Anyone have any advice?
