Deciding when to try!?!!

So my husband an I truly want a child, but However until next year we are living with his parents while he's in rotc. However I'm trying to get him to understand if we start trying in march and happen to get pregnant we will be living in our own home by the time the baby is born!! I could really use some advice, as baby fever confuses the mind!??
