Are mesh bumpers safe?

My daughter will be six months old on the 17th, and currently sleeps in a pack and play in our room. I'm 12 weeks pregnant again so I'd like to transition her to her crib in her own room. My concern is, she always has to sleep against the edge of something. If she's not leaning on the edge of her pack and play with her face pressing into it she won't sleep. Even if I put her in the middle of the mattress she will squirm to the edge. I'm concerned putting her in her crib because I know she will stick her arms and legs through. Any recommendations would be appreciated! Thank you!
