Cramps between period from IUD?

I had my copper IUD put in back in May, worst cramps I've ever had! Since I had it put in I find that in between my periods I'll randomly get cramps from time to time, has anyone else had that happen?

Yes it has happened to me. It lasted a couple of months. I'd get horrible cramps even when I wasn't on my period. It's "normal". When that happened I was advised to get an ultrasound to check the placement. Everything was fine. If it is worrying you, you can always get an ultrasound through Planned Parenthood.

I had the worst cramps ever with my IUD, all the time. Half the week I felt like I was in labor. Plus i had non stop spotting.  I had it removed!
