No heart tone on doppler, FOUND ON ULTRASOUND

We had the scariest, most exhausting morning. Our rude, arrogant doctor actually had no issue getting the doppler when I asked (I was surprised). 10 minutes later... we heard my own heartbeat but not baby's. Cue swings of "this happened to people I know, I'm sure he or she is fine" and also "oh my god idk how I'll survive this if he or she is gone. How do I keep calm and keep tony calm but also I can't stop shaking and crying now."

We finally got back into the ultrasound room and we saw the little beat before we even heard it. Baby Bean is FINE, thank you God. Heartbeat was 154, then 159 when measured again.

So ladies... I've known this to happen to two friends and today it happened to us. Keep your hope and faith!!!!

We got so many sonogram pictures to take home and they helped me through my heavy mood swings for the rest of the day 🤗

Also got a sneak peek of what may be a little winky but 12w2d is too early to say for certain that we have a boy. This pic is baby's back, booty, thigh, knee, shin, ankle and foot!!

We have another ultrasound in 2 weeks to determine gender and we cannot wait!!!!
