spotting on sprintec

I just was switched to sprintec after being on lutera. I just started spotting today enough for a panty liner and I'm on day 3 in the pack. I'm also taking clindamycin 150mg for a tooth infection. I know it's normal to spot when starting a new birth control or switching brands but I also have some cramping. should I expect this spotting and cramps to last all month and be settled within 2 to 4 cycles? I'm sorry I sound dumb I'm just new to birth control
