Acupuncture

I have now had acupuncture 3 times for the past 3 weeks. The day of my second time I got diarrhea and it has continued since then. So about two and a half weeks straight. One or two days out of the week it's really bad. The day after or two days after I had acupuncture it was really bad. The girl said it wasn't likely related to the acupuncture but idk...has this happened to anyone else or do you know if this could be a side effect? I am now going down to having it once a month so I won't be back until October.
