other than the fact it's just what you HAVE to do.... power to y'all.

i've read posts and stories about people going years and years TTC.

I've only been trying for 5 months. and it's heartbreaking.

I came off BC and have yet to have my period since stopping. On nuvaring, i had SUPER regular periods... like they'd start on the hour so this is quite the change for me.

so i went to my doctor, she told me to lose 10 pounds and start testing to see if i'm ovulating. Well, i've been doing that for awhile now, and i haven't had a positive ovulation test yet.

I will go back to the doctor in 2 months, and if i haven't ovulated by then, they'll put me on some medication.

and then if a whole year goes by, she said we could test for infertility.

i hate this process.

i have two step kids and i love them to pieces, but the more i love them, the more i long for my own. someone to call me mom.
