Intense lower abdominal pain

So, about 6 months ago I had to change my birth control after I started getting my period twice a month during the active pills. I had taken this birth control for 2 years before it started acting up. So I switched BC pills and everything was fine for 6 months. Now, I am expiriencing the worst lower stomach pain, worse than period cramps and I'm only a week into this pack!! Idk what to do😩 my body adjusts fine and then so long after I have these weird side affects. Anyone else have had these problems before??
