Cat wont leave me alone!

I posted a couple weeks ago about how the kitten my fiances mother got wont leave me alone. she has non stop been following me and wont leave my side. She stopped for like a day and now af is due in two days and she is back at it again. She followed me to the bathroom, sat by the tub till i was done with my shower, followed me back to my room, came in my room and is now currently sitting on my lap. If i get up to walk anywhere, she is right there next to me. She gets very jealous now when someone comes near me, even my son. Is that a sign of anything? I heard when an animal wont leave you alone, theres a possibility of pregnancy.
