when to have a second child ?

i'm thinking about maybe having a second child later on and i want to see when's a good time ? i know there's no right time to have a baby lol but like i don't want to have another baby while my daughter is still little ( 8 months now ) or while she's too old that they won't be as close . just looking for opinions or your experiences and thoughts .

We got pregnant when my daughter turned one (my LMP was literally her birthday lol) 
I had to wait a year though for a VBAC with my midwife, otherwise we would've tried sooner. My daughter will almost be 2 when our little boy is born. She'll be 21 months.

Depends on your child, really. 
My daughter would've hated a sibling before now (she's 4.5 and I'm due any day). She wasn't ready emotionally for a sibling prior to her 4th birthday. Now she is so excited and ready to be a big sister. All she talks about is how she's going to love her and be her best friend. She is involved and developmentally can grasp we are adding a person to our family. 
You will just have to see when she is ready and when you feel like your family is ready as a whole. It's a balance between not too soon and not too late.

My son is a week away from turning 3 and I'm currently 17wks pregnant. Now I think it should have happened before. He is so independent and I don't think he'll be to interested in a baby.
