How often do you clip babies nails?

How old is your baby and how often do you have to clip their nails? My son is almost 5 months and I feel like I do it at least one a week or he scratches his sweet face!

I do once a week for my 5 mo old as well but i swear sometimes he needs thrm clipped twice a week. His toenails i do less often. Clipping nails is my least favorite mom chore

Ive done it once in 9 months. Since she was born they easoly fall off or break and i just pull them off. Never hurt her once

My baby is 11 months and I clip his fingernails at least once a week otherwise I find he ends up scratching his face. Toenails I do less often.

I never clipped my daughters while she was an infant. I used a nail file while I was nursing her maybe every other week.

I cut my daughter's when she's asleep she's 19 months now and I start cutting her nails so you kind of pulls away so I let her go and then she'll come back and sit there for me I try to cut her nails at least twice a week cuz they grow so fast and when she was smaller I cut off at least twice twice a week when she was six months and under I would just use my fingernail two pull off her nail because they were so thin and brittle

my daughter is almost 8 months and i SUCK at doing her nails 😖 I used to file them but now she won't let me. every time I clip them I end up cutting her 😢 or just waking her up. I could do it every week bc they grow so fast but I usually aim for every other week. I'm struggling even more now that her crib mattress is lowered. so I have to try to lean in and not cut her sweet little fingers 😭   but she's like a dog or cat and will not let me touch her hands (besides to help her stand) if she's awake. any tips would be lovely. I've nibbled a few hanging nails before but she really doesn't like that either 😫 and it's not getting any easier as she's getting older!
