community keeps refreshing

Just got a nurture update on my LG v20 and now it's impossible to use the community section. No matter what group I'm in, if I back out of an article it kicks me back into the "hot" group and completely refreshes and I have to try and find my way back to where I was. This is a huge flaw to me because more often than not I can't find my way back. I've tried using my devices back button and the back button that is part of the app on the top left of the screen. Both do this. Is there a way to turn it off? If not I can no longer use the community portion of this app, which is mostly what I do on here.
