my S/O and I have been together for 4 years now and we used to have sex all the time and now we are lucky to have sex a couple times a month,  and I am the one always initiating.. is this normal??

Not unusual. It depends for me, we go through different periods. Right now he doesn't have much of a sex drive, I think because he's super stressed all the time about being unemployed, and I was on the pill for like a year and had like no sex drive. So it has ranged from once a month ish, to 3-4 times a week! I would talk to him. Ask if he's feeling differently about you, or if he is less attracted to you, or just bored, etc. Many people lose the initial excitement with a new sexual partner.
