Would you let your child miss a week of school for vacation?
My child's in kindergarten, and it's her first year real school. My dad wants to take us on a family vacation through the 23rd to the 29th. I just don't know if I feel comfortable to let her miss a whole week. During that week she will be missing picture day, a soccer practice, and not to mention all the other important learning opportunities. How would you guys feel, would you do it a whole week maybe I'm overreacting but is five days really too much out of school?
