Fur free floors?!

My dog is always shedding so much, it's crazy. My baby will be crawling soon and I'm honestly feeling anxious about how I'll keep my floors clean enough. I'm vacuuming and mopping the floors every day but I still feel it's not clean enough because he sheds so much. We do brush him and take proper care of his fur, it's just the way it is. How do you keep your floors clean?! I'm thinking maybe a new vacuum cleaner would help. Any advice on what to get?
