Hi everyone,

I met a guy I am so in love with. We get along unlike anyone we've ever met before. He is Muslim and I was raised Christian but was never religious and I don't identify as anything religion wise. Basically the problem in our relationship is that he wants a wife who is Muslim. I'm trying to educate myself and see if Islam is something I could practice and relate to. Aside from that which needs a lot of education and research, I have a daughter by my previous boyfriend. Her father is catholic and very much a part of her life. It just didn't work out with us relationship wise. This guy I'm seeing said his "parents would not accept my daughter if she doesn't convert to Islam." I need advice and I wanted to know if someone could help me out. I can comment my email if you're willing to talk with me, but please be kind and understanding as I do not have a background with this religion and I'm still learning. I just need someone to talk to.
