Starting a business

I am about to go into my second year at uni studying event and entertainment management degree. I have done many family events such as parties christenings and really want to kick start my event business from now also part of my business I want to start doing personalised favours ive done some and people have really liked them and I want to explore more ideas with that. Right now everything I want to do are just thoughts. I'm just struggling to put it all together does anyone have any advice about starting businesses.
