Would you say underwear or underwears?

My best friend and I disagree. I say that it is underwears bc u have a pair of underwears, but she called me dumb lol and said they are underwear. But you see, they don't call them panty they call them panties, they don't call them boxer they call them boxers, lastly they don't call them chony they call them chonies. So what do u think?

underwear as in "wearing under"  clothes, not wearings.

It's underwear. It is the clothes worn under your clothes. No need to "pair them." It is all underwear. Boxers come in a pack, or men wear multiple boxers, same with women and panties, but wearing one individual piece, they become underwear.
