Waiting till 6weeks check up to have sex or not?

How many of y'all waited? I'm 5weeks pp and ready to resume sex. I know a week won't kill me but I'm horny 😬

I had sex 4 weeks 2 d pp.. I had no tears no stitches though... just went for my 6 week check and I'm pregnant......
Sike! Lol.. the doctor did say I looked good and couldn't tell I just had a baby

I'm waiting. I only had a minor tear and have felt totally fine since giving birth but I'm still bleeding some. It's not worth risking an infection, in my opinion.

I definitely will be for two reasons. Biggest reason, I had a third degree tear because the baby was sunny side up. 3 weeks PP, and I still have stitches that haven't dissolved yet. Second reason, I conceived so easily off birth control the first time that I want to make sure I'm back on before we go at it. Sucks because I do want to have sex again. 😊

I had it at 4 weeks and had no pain or issues- I had that he said was a 'moderate tear' .

I had sex with a condom at 4 weeks pp. I had an episiotomy but my stitches dissolved within 5 days. However, even with tons of foreplay it still hurt and was uncomfortable, so I'm waiting to try again after my 6 week dr appointment

I will be waiting even though I had a csection so my vag was left unharmed. I physically feel fine and could have sex, but I will not risk infection just for a bit of intercourse. My husband is a doctor and would never allow us to do it before then anyway. 
It's best to be cleared by your doctor since they can tell you if your healed internally if not.
