help answer

I'm 36 weeks. went to the dr today. I'm still at 1 cm and thick. but I've been feeling lots of pressure and some contractions. Dr did gbs swab and she said that I'm very swollen down there and baby is low. so does this mean I'm going into labor soon or anyone else have any advice.
