Family mixed messages
Hey everyone! My husband and I have been together for 6 years, only married for 3 months. I'm a grad student and I have 3 more years of school. our family keeps reminding us to not rush starting a family and that I should focus on graduating before kids. our friends have been on both sides, some saying we should wait, some saying start trying now. My husband and I both really want to start a family now, but I don't feel like we're very supported. I'm also nervous to have my first child during grad school. we want to plan it so that I deliver in the summer so I don't fall behind on classes, which means our window is small! If we don't get pregnant by the end of October, I feel like we should quit trying until I graduate. Any insights or similar experiences? Thanks!
