Where do you all get dressed up?

Me and the wife love to get dressed up and go out but, there arent many venues where a suit and cocktail dress are appropriate.  Where do you all go that gives you an excuse to  dress up.

Dancing! Ceilidhs and tango are great fun. Or, getting dressed up fora dinner out or cocktails in the town.

We live in Portland Oregon and there is always a venue. Think bank tower restaurants, dinner cruises, dinner trains, galas for causes.

Maybe a fancy hotel bar/cocktail restaurant? Maybe a comedy show? You don't have to dress up for those but a lot of people do, especially if it's a popular and nicer venue. You could see a play and go to a nice dinner? 
Hell! Just dress up for no reason and go out to eat and see a movie. Date nights are fun.

There's an upscale martini bar near where we are and then we go to a nice reservation only restaurant.

We are expats so we do it at embassy gatherings. Maybe go to a luxury hotel for a drink.
