I posted this in Birth Control as well, but no one responded 😞

I am on week two of my active birth control pills for the month, and I got my period. And it's not just spotting, it's a full on, heavy bleeding, cramps and bloating period and it's day 4 of it. Basically, it feels like a period that I would get when I wasn't on birth control.

I'm thinking that maybe it was stress induced because this has been a VERY stressful week full of severe anxiety, but I just want to be sure. I had skipped my period for the past couple months, and the last one was more like spotting than a period. So this weird middle of the cycle period is a bit of a shock.

Any advice? Thanks!
