Does your baby follow simple directions?

If they do, what do you consider as them following directions?

My son will stick his tongue out and dance when I ask him to. If I whisper he will too. If I ask him where the dog is he looks around the floor for him, if I ask where the cat is he looks up on the table/windowsill for her.  Things my Son does NOT listen to- Please don't pinch my nips. Please don't kick my belly/boobs/face. Please don't stick ur hands in your poopy nappy.

My daughter listens when I say where is the doggie -she looks for him. If I say aria dance she starts dancing, shells clap her hands, wave, pat the top of her head and she'll lean in for a kiss when I ask for a kiss. She doesn't kiss back but puts her face near my lips so I can give her a kiss. She doesn't listen to no, or don't bite. When I say no she usually crawls faster towards whatever she's headed for. Which I can appreciate, she's a smart girl and she knows what no means but chooses not to listen. Lol.

She does a few things. If I say give me a hug or kiss she will often do it if she isn't too distracted. She will "show me her teeth" when I brush them or just want to check out her gums. Sometimes she will "come here" although she occasionally thinks this is the start of a chasing game. Other things she will do although I see them more as tricks like clap, stomp, where's your head, show me your nose, can you wiggle, how big are you- she reaches up as high as she can. She definitely understands a lot more than we give her credit for, but she's also a baby so of course she doesn't always listen or show that she cares. She picks up words super fast though!

My son know very well the commands I ask but he refuses to do them unless he wants to himself .. he use to do them .. then he stopped he is actually started to act extremely bad ! He use to be so good but now all he does is hit me in the face and when I get into him he finds it funny

My daughter listens to please can mommy have that (when has things she shouldnt) when I tell her to sit down or to go to her chair to eat or ask where the cat is she goes looking or when I tell her it's bath time she goes to her room n tries to her towel. She understands no thank you on her terms, she gives cuddles n kisses when asked.

Ha! The only command I give is "No" or "No touch" and she knows what I'm saying....and chooses not to listen or weeps and has a mini tantrum. We are teaching her body parts and if you ask her to point to your nose or your mouth she will do it. I think she understands "come here" but she decides whether she's in the mood or not. Sometimes she'll look at you, smile, and crawl off at warp speed in the opposite direction 🤦🏼‍♀️

"Commands" my baby responds to: "Throw the ball", "show (name of person) what you've got", "bring it to mommy/daddy", "drop it", "bring the (ball,toy book)", "brush your hair", "brush your teeth", and "go potty"

I'm not sure if it counts as "commands"... I'll ask questions... want to read a book? Go get Minnie? Where's doggy? Want to push the button? Things like that she'll either crawl there or do it... she'll also pout when I tell her no sometimes... dramatic haha
