Will doing squats every day with no other exercise make my butt flatter?

The only other exercise I do is walk about 30 minutes a day but I want my butt to be more toned. Will I just lose all the fat I have on my butt or will it become perkier with time? I know that you have to add weights but I just started today and my legs are already sore. I'm also cutting out carbs and drinking plenty more water. I want to make my butt more toned and perkier
