Coming off the pill

Hey guys so I'm abit stuck on what to do and hoping to get some help, I've been taking levlen for about 14 months and I want to stop taking it to hopefully be able to fall pregnant soon but I've heard that you don't ovulate for atleast 6 months is this true... I know my period won't be regular but I'm just stuck as there's so many different stories about it all
