We went in for my 11 week ultrasound last week super excited only to find out they couldn't find a heartbeat and baby died at 8 weeks. We were absolutely heartbroken. My body didn't miscarry naturally so I was prescribed Cytotec to induce miscarriage. The first dose i took vaginally and nothing happened for about 6 hours then I bled super heavy for hours and passed lots of big clots but hardly any cramping. I went in for an ultrasound 3 days later and they said the baby didn't pass. So I got prescribed another dose of Cytotec vaginally and this time the cramps are almost unbearable and started less than an hour after taking it. I'm hardly bleeding and haven't passed any clots though. I took the pills about 6 hours ago and still have major on and off cramping but no clots or heavy bleeding. Anyone else experience this? Is it normal for nothing to come out on the second dose? I really don't want to have a D&C; but I'm afraid I might have to.
