Yeast infection/bv

I keep getting really bad yeast infections (I was told I also have BV but don't understand the difference) and so I just go to my doctor and they give me flagyl and it goes away for a few months then comes back. I get no relief at all from over the counter stuff but I don't have any money for my co pay until the first of the month and have no money for really anything (no I'm not looking for a pity party lol just explaining my situation) Does anyone have any ideas on things I can do to possibly help? Im so itchy and it keeps me up at night. I can try to look for things around my house.
