Period and ectopic pregnancy?

Is it possible to have a tubal pregnancy and still get your period?

*I'm not pregnant, I just want to know. Because I have an IUD (mirena) and I'm not supposed to get my period, but sometimes I do, and it's very light. So how could I know if I had a tubal pregnancy?
