My nurse has booked me in for an ultrasound on Thursday and I'll only be 5 weeks 6 days by then, will you be able to see anything?

Yeah I had an emergency scan at 5-6weeks  x it will be an internal scan :) x I saw a tiny alittle heart beat and a tiny baby looks like a jelly bean shape :) xxx

There's a good possibility you won't see anything but an empty sac that early. At this early on, it may be better to check serial hcgs and wait another week or two to scan. Not seeing baby on the scan because it was done too early can cause more anxiety than it's worth. Speaking from experience from an empty sac scan at 5w2d. That week and a half wait until we had our repeat scan and actually saw anything was terrible.
