under 35 and healthy.  1 year . over 35 and healthy 6 mos.

I asked my doctor about it before I got married and he wouldn't do any tests until we'd been trying 6 months or more. I'm 38 and that didn't even play a factor. Get yourself some ovulation sticks. At least make sure you're ovulating. That's easy to do on your own.

I'm 38 and TTC. My doctor told me that if we don't get a BFP after TTC for 6 months, we should go in for testing. Best of luck to you!!!

I personally never struggled with infertility if anything I have the opposite lol but my sister does and she said that after one year the era consider it a long time and should be checked for fertility?
