Ok so I've been using OPKs as well as checking cervical position and now I'm just confused!!!

I am CD 19- and 7dpo. My cervix was high and soft right around ovulation. Then it dropped back down and became medium firmness. Over the last few days it's gotten higher in position again and medium firmness. Today- it also feels like it may be open but I can't really tell and it's tender- and there was thick creamy CM just a little on my finger after checking. Ivebeen cramping over the last few days and feeling like I may start my period but I'm not due for another week.

I thought my cervix would stay low and firm until my next cycle? Can anyone make any sense out of this? Could I be ovulating again?
