35 week & sex?

Sorry if this is TMI, my husband is afraid I'll go into labor if we had sex since I'm dilated 1 cm and 50% thinned. Could that happen ? 🤔

I'm 4cm, still having sex, and not in labor at 37+3. Baby is only going to come out when they are ready!

Unless your doctor has any concerns I wouldn’t worry about. I’ve been the same dilation and effacement as you for weeks now and now I’m 38 +1 weeks and no sign of baby. Husband and I have sex pretty much every night.

It's always possible. But at 35 weeks you might be okay. The only thing with sex is an orgasm could cause some contractions and semen softens the cervix, but if you're not already progressing into labor, it won't do too much.
