SO quit drinking... and having sex?

Question

Has anyone else had this happen? We used to have sex a lot and since he quit drinking two weeks or so ago we have not had sex. Im on the verge of bringing it up, but haven't yet. Idk if I'm just over reacting. I'm wondering if he's just been watching porn or something? But I've tried to make it clear I was wanting to and those few times he was too tired. I get that can happen but two weeks... I'm dying here 😭 I'm not a fan or porn watching myself either. I'm not trying to assume but part of me is wondering how he's so fine with out having sex. 😕

His body is going through major changes if he was a heavy drinker. The detox can impact him in so many ways.

Please tread carefully here. You do not want to make it sound like you liked him better when he drank. Two weeks is a very short period of time in the scheme of things. Put it in perspective. His body is healing. Let him heal and re-adjust.

hes probably just feeling blah still since quitting...it will affect u physically and emotionally...i wldnt fret...maybe have a conversation with him...just try not to gt upset bc it really sounds like he's just gettin his body and mind adjusted and he'll b back to himself in no time...good luck girly

from personal experience I can tell you that when somebody stops drinking it does take awhile for their body to regulate my so was the same way and I had to be patient and make sure that he knew how much I supported him it's a very sensitive subject

I quit 3 weeks ago snd I can tell you im usually a freak but my dopamine levels are so off I told my husband how am I ever going to have sex again. When you associate alcohol with many things your brain has to recalibrate allot
