Fetal pocket doppler opinions needed!?

I'm 19 weeks today and everytime I think I find what is the heartbeat it always says it's in the 120's is that normal? I'm having a boy

I couldn't find the heartbeat at first.. I recommend getting some aloe vera gel and trying that. I makes a huge difference! You should hear your heartbeat (slower rate) & move it around and you should hear babys! Good luck!!

If I don't pick it up good it stays around that but I move it around changing the angle and t jumps up to around 150s

My midwife informed me that if your doppler isn't professional grade the heart rate reading on your doppler may not be accurate. My doppler always is around 135-150 for my baby girl but everytime I'm at the doctors office they pick up her rate at 160-170. And sometimes the heart rate doesn't always matter you should try and listen for movements as well. And they are also a big plus, just hearing your baby move around it's heart melting.

My baby girl is always 140-145 and I find it almost right away each time

Mine would often pick up the heartbeat but wouldn't even register a rate number. I didn't care as much. As long as I could head the distinctively faster sound of his/her heartbeat.
