Lunette cup

So I really want to try out a period cup but even lite tampons feel uncomfortable for me. So idk what to do. And if I get it what if I spill it when I take it out? Haha I need advice on that stuff. I'm 19 and I didn't grow up having a mom so I never got the girl talk. Or anything remotely close to that.
