So I had a conversation with my great aunt and mom tonight over the phone. They are wanting me to marry this guy that's been close family friends for over 10 years now.

I first met him when I was going into high school (I'm now 26)he was a freshman in college when we met.

He's finishing up the last 2 years then he'll be an orthopedic surgeon. That being said my parents think he would be a GOOD provider obviously.

He's good looking but idk if the connection is there for me BUT then again he's been in school for so long I've only seen him a few years at a time and we text every once in a while.

He's been head over heels for me and tells my family members he's going to marry me one day for the past 6 years or so. Even IN FRONT of his current girlfriend(s).

This is where I'm confused he dates girls and brings me up in front of them all the time and treats them like that ... I've seen him date a girl just so she'd house sit for him while he was out of the country studying, I've seen him date a girl so he'd live with her and she'd cook and clean for him. I mean he treats all these girls bad but has always made it known he wants me and he's doing all this hard work for me....?

So I'm turned off by him treating those girls like that and my family says it's whatever he wants you and would be good for you...

Btw he's been in another state so we've never dated or anything.

Soo what do you ladies think? I can't talk to anyone in my family I feel like because they just see him as good handsome and rich...

I understand parents want the best for their daughters but seriously?...is what he did to those other girls not a big deal?
