safe and affordable bassinet?

I'm trying to find a safe and affordable bassinet or sleeper so mt baby can sleep in my room for the first couple months after she is born. Any recommendations? Thanks in advance! ☺

Get a pack and play that has all the delux options. U can use a lot longer!

We used the arms reach co sleeper that had a drop down side, amazon carried them

I'll pack and play would be fine. You get more use out of it than a regular bassinet. But if you really are interested in just a bassinet, I highly recommend the Fisher-Price rock and play bassinet (this is different than the sleeper). The only thing is, once the baby starts to turn and rollover, the bassinet is no longer safe. But that is all bassinets, just so you know. That's why the Pack and play is probably a better idea.
