Need stroller advice!!!

I have the Chicco Viaro travel system and have noticed a few things that bother me since using it. 1) the sun shade on the car seat doesn't stay all the way up, 2) the cup holder in the stroller is very close to the handlebar and throws off hand placement, 3) it is a rough ride on the uneven sidewalks around my neighborhood, 4) the stroller doesn't lock or always stay upright when collapsed. I'm wondering if I should return it and purchase a different travel system or just purchase a jogging stroller in addition to it (I'll want one eventually anyways) for walks/jogs around the neighborhood. I do like that the stroller isn't too large and easy to maneuver. I also like the price and don't want to have to spend much more.
